Baked Fish in Wine Sauce

Baked Fish in Wine Sauce is simple, simple, simple--but very good.

Ingredients:

1 stick of butter
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 cup cream
salt
pepper
paprika
1/4 cup sherry6 large fish filets (sole, trout, flounder, haddock, etc.)
parsley

Melt butter and stir in flour; cook for about 2 minutes. Add white wine and stir. Gradually add cream and stir until smooth. Season mixture with salt, pepper and paprika to taste; continue to cook. Finally, add sherry.

Place filets in a greased baking dish and pour sauce over the fish.

Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

Garnish with parsley.

Makes 6 servings.
