Crab Chowder Supreme
This is hearty enough to be the main dish of your meal. 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped celery 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 3 cups milk 1 can condensed potato soup 1 7oz can crab meat, drained and flaked 1 8oz can cream style corn 2 tablespoons chopped pimiento 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed 1 bay leaf 1/4 cup dry sherry 1/4 cup snipped parsley
In large saucepan, cook onion and celery in butter or margarine until tender. Add remaining ingredients except sherry and parsley. Cook until heated through, stirring often, about 15 minutes. Stir in sherry and heat 2 minutes more. Remove bay leaf and garnish with parsley. Enjoy! Try it in a bread cup(sourdough)and you can eat the whole thing. Makes 6 servings.
