Dream Cake

Dream Cake is actually bar cookies rather than a “cake”. I like to think they are really "Dream Cookies". They have a bottom crust and luscious filling and are addictive!

Ingredients

Crust:

1˝ cups flour

˝ cup butter or margarine

2 Tbsp white sugar

Filling:

1˝ cups brown sugar, packed

2 Tbsp flour

Pinch of salt

1 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

2 cups chopped pecans

˝ cup coconut (optional)

Mix first three ingredients for crust. Press into 9 x 9 pan. Mix filling in a bowl and then pour over crust. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Be sure to cool before cutting.
