Oven Fried Fish Fillets

The most basic of fish recipes.

1 1/2 to 2 pounds fish fillets
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons salt
fine dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons melted butter

Grease a baking dish and preheat oven to 500 degrees. Cut fish fillets into serving-size pieces. In a small bowl, combine milk and salt. Dip fish pieces into the milk, then into crumbs, turning to coat well. Place coated fillets into prepared baking dish and sprinkle each fillet with melted butter. Bake for 10-20 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Recipe serves 4.
